Cristina is a doctoral student at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). She has a background in environmental science and recently completed her MSc in Public Health.
She has worked on epidemiological studies investigating the effects of air pollution on mental health, in particular addressing anxiety and depression. She has also experience carrying out fieldwork within the European project EXPOsOMICS.
In the BlueHealth project, Cristina is working on the community-level interventions conducted in Barcelona. She is responsible for designing the study protocols, recruiting participants, and collecting and analysing the data. Her PhD thesis will be based on the data collected from the BlueHealth interventions conducted in Barcelona.
