Frida Hansdotter Pilgaard is a public health researcher based at the division of Social Medicine and Global Health in Lund University.
She has a masters degree in Public Health Sciences awarded by Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. After completing her master’s degree, Frida has been working as an infectious disease epidemiologist at the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease control and as a Programme Officer at the Public Health Agency of Sweden mainly in the field of sexual health.
Frida is currently a part-time employee at the City of Malmö working on social sustainability projects. Her main research interests are public health, health inequalities and social sustainability.
Within the BlueHealth project, she is working on an evaluation of a swimming intervention in the City of Malmö.
