Fabio is a researcher at the Dutch Institute of Public Health and Environment (RIVM) working on water and sanitation safety planning.
Based at the World Health Organization’s Collaborating Centre for Risk Assessment of Pathogens in Food and Water, he works on water-related projects such as the UNECE/WHO Protocol on Water and Health.
Fabio obtained his bachelor of Life Sciences: Microbiology at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, and holds a Master’s degree in Global Health (Maastricht University) as well as International Development (Radboud University Nijmegen). After obtaining his Master’s degree he worked for an NGO, focused on improving healthcare systems in fragile and conflict-affected states.
Fabio is helping to develop future scenarios for the BlueHealth Project.
