Dr. Timothy Bouley is a global health and environmental specialist working within the World Bank to develop collaborative strategies for investment.
His technical work includes climate change, ocean and fisheries science, infectious disease, satellite remote sensing and earth observation, data science, and new financial mechanisms.
Timothy trained as a medical doctor and environmental scientist. Recently he has worked on the Global Partnership for Oceans, fisheries and climate innovation programming in Mauritania, the creation of a global One Health framework, and establishment of a new World Bank approach to addressing climate change and health. He works closely with the WHO, a number of governments, NGOs, and the private sector.
He holds degrees in biology, bioethics, geography, and medicine from Tufts, Harvard, Oxford, and Duke.
Timothy is a member of the BlueHealth External Advisory Board.
