Rikard Lundstedt is a PhD student at the Department of Design Sciences at Lund university in Sweden.

He has a Master of Arts degree with a special focus on computer based art, including interactive sound and virtual reality installations.

Rikard is an experienced programmer has developed several virtual reality tools that have been used in participatory design research projects.

As part of the BlueHealth research programme, Rikard will design and develop virtual environments and user interfaces for use in experiments. He will help to run lab-based experiments and implement and evaluate virtual environments in retirement homes.

Rikard has previously worked as an architecture consultant, as a software developer and as a lecturer – teaching various courses in digital design.
