Nicky Yeo is a PhD student at the University of Exeter Medical School. Her wide-ranging research interests include the studying impact of natural environments on human health and wellbeing, with particular focus on mental health and socioeconomic inequalities.

After completing her BSc in Biomedical Science at UWE Bristol in 2014, Nicky joined the University of Exeter, where she completed an MSc in Environment and Human Health.

A component part of BlueHealth, Nicky’s PhD project will bring relaxing blue spaces into clinical settings via virtual reality technology. She will measure its effect on a range of psychological and physiological patient outcomes.
