Marit de Vries is a scientific researcher at RIVM involved in several projects regarding mapping regional health patterns.

Marit obtained her Bachelor’s degree (Human geography and urban planning) and Master’s degree (Urban Geography) from the University of Amsterdam. After obtaining her Master’s degree she worked as a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam in several courses in the fields of GIS, urban and development geography and urban planning.

In BlueHealth, Marit contributes to the development of scenarios.
