Gerardo is a specialist in environmental health working at the WHO Regional Office for Europe. He has over ten years of international experience in project management, environmental policy analysis and quantitative assessment/modelling.
His main areas of work are climate policy (adaptation and mitigation), environmental risk assessment, environmental policy design and evaluation, and environmental economics.Currently, Gerardo also works on environmentally sustainable health systems.
He has extensive regional and country experience in Latin America and the Caribbean, East and South Asia, and his current job focuses on Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
In the BlueHealth project, Gerardo provides input on a review of decision support tools (DSTs) and economics.
