Filippo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Environment and Health at the Istituto Superiore di Sanita in Rome, Italy. He has a background in Environmental Science.
Filippo recently completed his PhD in Ecology at the Sapienza University of Rome, which was focused on phytoremediation of natural waters and soils, in particular the removal of heavy metals by macrophytes and their interaction with microbiological pathogens.
In BlueHealth, Filippo will be working on the Appia Antica Park community-level intervention study.
