Dr Mare Löhmus Sundström is an ecophysiologist associated with Lund University.
She is primarily working as a specialist in climate change and health at the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health at Stockholm County Council.
In addition, Mare is an affiliated researcher at the Institute of Environmental Medicine at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm where she is an associate professor.
Mare has experience working with behavioural endocrinology, climate change-driven changes in infectious disease dispersal, and during the last four years, with environmental epidemiology, mainly concerning health outcomes associated with climate change-related processes and with urban greenspace.
