Dr Maria Albin is an occupational and environmental epidemiologist based in Lund, Sweden.
She is head of the Epidemiology and Environmental Medicine section at the Lund University Hospital, as well as deputy head of the Occupational and Environmental section, where she is also an associate professor.
Maria has over 20 years of experience in the field environmental and occupational epidemiology. She has conducted research into the relationships between a wide range of occupational and environmental exposures and several health outcomes including cancer, respiratory disease, reproductive effects and cardiovascular disease.
In recent years, Maria has been researching the health effects related to community noise and green environments.
