Dr Enrico Scoccimarro is a Climatological Scientist at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia and part of the Climate Simulations and Prediction Division at the Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC).

He has 15 years’ experience in climate modelling and simulations. His research examines extreme events such as tropical cyclones, with a particular focus on their interaction with the climate system.

Enrico is responsible for providing climate data for BlueHealth, ensuring the latest climate forecasts can be used in the future scenarios area of research.

He is Member of the Tropical Cyclone Model Intercomparison Project and a member of the US-CLIVAR Hurricane Working Group.

Enrico has also contributed to the development of several general circulation models and performed a number of climate scenario simulations and projections.
